Kick Out Event Occurs if on an Annual Observation Date the Closing Values of both the FTSE® 100 and S&P 500® are equal to or greater than their Start Values.

Growth Payment

Variable depending upon the year (if any) in which a Kick Out Event occurs. If no Kick Out Event occurs, there will be no Growth Payment.

Capital Protection Provides protection as long as the FTSE® 100 and S&P 500® remain at or above 50% of their Start Values. Daily observations of Closing Values. If either or both of the FTSE® 100 and S&P 500® fall below 50% of their Start Value at any time and a Kick Out Event has not occurred during the Product Term you may not get back the full amount of your initial investment. The amount will be reduced by the same percentage that the End Value of the worse performing index is below its Start Value. Please refer to “How do you calculate the return of my initial investment?” on page 8 of the plan brochure for details. Capital Protection only applies if the investment is held for the full Product Term.
